Nayu's thoughts
Regular readers will know I love cats, so I say yes to most cat stories that come my way. I guess Tigger has stuck in my mind because he is ginger, a cat colouring I have always wanted but never had, and he is named Tigger, which is appropriate given the boundless energy kittens have as well as his colouring: although he is a bit more shy than the original Tigger!

The cover drew me in with how cute it is - that and I also love cherry blossom which the tree reminds me of. That particular style of illustrationn runs throughout the book which gives it extra charm and make all the cats super cute. The story was intriguing because Tigger wasn't the only cat in the house - there are 3 others! I loved their thoughts on Tigger being in their home.

There is a lot of info woven into the story about what it is like having a new kitten, how much Tigger can go outside (not much at first), how he adjusts to his new environment. He has an accident, which is to be expected, and I was a tiny bit disappointed the accident was clear rather than yellow, because at a glance it looks like he knocked over a glass of water without a glass in sight. Yes I really am discussing the colour of pee in a review!

There were a few typos regarding the word too - often it would be to but I stress mine is an ARC so that was probably why. It is a sweet all round read, perfect for all cat and other animal lovers. While you can never be fully prepared for accepting a little fluffball into your life, Tigger's Arrival does a good job of explaining what it is like. I'll be rereading it a lot so I can pretend I have a ginger cat!
