Read

Storytime: When I Grow Up... by Gill McLean
Children's, Picture book
10/10E
(Fergus discovers there's only one thing he needs to be when he grows up...)

Alfie in the Garden by Debi Gliori
Children's, Picture book
9/10E
(Another cute read from Debi, who manages to sneak in a version of her dragons into this bunny tale!)

The Parent Agency by David Baddiel and Jim Fields
Children's, 9 years +
9/10E
(Imagine ending up in a world where you get to choose your own parents...it's not as fun as it seems!)

The Saddle Club: Horse Shy by Bonnie Bryant
Children's, 9 years +
10E/10E
(Horses + friendship + humour & a smidge of tragedy = Nayu's perfect read!)

Jolly Snowmen by Annette Rusling and Ned Taylor
Children's, Board book, Picture book
10E/10E
(These cute plastic snowmen disappear one by one until the end!)

Penguin and Pumpkin by Salina Yoon
Children's, Picture book
10E/10E
(Quite possibly the cutest book of the year!)

The Rabbit Ate My Homework by Rachel Elizabeth Cole
Children's, 9 years +
9/10E
(Drew's homework isn't all this cute bunny eats!)

Crowned by Julia Dweck and Beth Trott
Children's, Picture book
10E/10E
(Cute fairy Quinn strive hard to reach her goal...)

Listened

Summer Daydreams by Carole Matthews
Fiction
10/10E
(An engaging, brilliantly narrated story of a mother following her dreams of making handbags through thick and thin...)

Watched

Cinderella
REWATCH! - Anime, French version
10E/10E
(Watching the title sequence I think it's funny how I think Cinderella looks way prettier in her poor clothes than in her fancy ones!)

Spice and Wolf
REWATCH! - Anime, English version
10E/10E
(Holo hates knowing she is a burden to Laurence in other people's eyes-sadly they can never learn the truth, that she is the wolf goddess, one who adores food!)

Aria the Animation
REWATCH! - Anime, Japanese version
10E/10E
(While I may think the title isn't the best, the story of the friends striving to be a top gondolier is totally awesome!)

Gunslinger Girls: Season 1
REWATCH! - Anime, English version
10E/10E
(Henrietta and her friends may be semi android killers, but they all love simple pleasures like ice cream!)

Aikatsu
REWATCH! - Anime, Japanese version
10E/10E
(I'm such a fangirl of this clean, hardly any boys and no love music idol show!)

Call the Midwife
REWATCH! - Historical drama, English version
8/10E
(A bit too hard hitting in places, but this is perfect for watching early in the morning [as in just after midnight] if you can't sleep.)

Avatar The Last Airbender, Season 2
REWATCH! - Anime, English version
10E/10E
(I'd forgotten how funny Toph is when she calls Ang Twinkle Toes!)

Craft, games and more
I can only show you this...the start of a blanket for my Grandad...

...because the rest of my craft work for this week is in yesterday's announcement of my newest venture, Nayu's Crochet Dreams

Due to the launch I've barely played any games either-sorry! It's been me, yarn, and a crochet hook kind of week.
