Nayuleska's thoughts
Sasha has such an awesome adventure! I loved her mother, and Sasha's unusual upbringing. I liked how
Sasha was able to solve some puzzles thanks to her vast knowledge on the ancient world, but for others
she needed help, sometimes from Johnny or other people. I liked the way Sasha thought, how she felt
about each new person she met. I like her adventurous side, and how she doesn't like bugs. There was a
sweet moment when Johnny tries to protect her from a dangerous creature, which wasn't even the worst
danger the duo get into. I enjoyed watching them figure out how to escape from their captors- on more
than one occasion I couldn't see how they would escape, but they did. This is a truly thrilling read which
isn't too dark and has a fair amount of humour in. Looking forward to book 2!
