Love Middle Grade Actually!

I do love middle grade books - they are super fun, often not too dismal and dreary which I find Young Adult dystopians can be and deal with issues readers of all ages can relate to. That is why I'm giving a shout out to a fellow author, Julie Grasso of Escape From the Forbidden Planet. She and several other authors have been plotting world domination promoting their love of middle grade reading, and I'm here to point you all in the right direction!

So what is Love Middle Grade Actually? It's an ebook full of 14 authors (including Julie) who have included the first 2 chapters of their books in this volume. The fun part is that they will be providing it FOR FREE from 7th-11th of February! How cool is that?

Now I know those of you with ebooks may think 'but we get samples free on ereaders'. Sometimes those samplers don't contain enough to get an idea of the book (having only the prologue, which can be radically different from the rest of the book was something that annoyed me tonight). The handy thing about Love Middle Grade Actually is that there's a whole bunch of middle grade samples in one document - a whole two chapters which is more than enough for you to get an idea of what the book has in store. Better than this is the fact that in each chapter there's a secret letter to be found. Find all of them and enter a raffle to win a Kindle Fire & free copies of the books sampled in Love Middle Grade Actually. How cool is that! The draw will conclude on 14th February.

So, where can you get your hands on the book which might land you a Kindle Fire? Right here - although until 7th February it will cost 99 cents for the book. For more info about the competition, check out Love Middle Grade Actually dedicated blog. To get you in the mood, here's a book trailer for the ebook! Go check it out & enter!
