Books I've read this week

All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin
Young Adult
(A not too distant future dystopian about a Mafia daughter who tries to ignore her background...)
9/10

My Big Book of Monsters by Jenny Arthur & Maggie Bateson
Children's, Picture Book
(These super friendly monsters gave me a pleasant surprise on every page!)
10/10

The Breakaway by Michelle Davidson Argyle
Young Adult
(I've loved this book from its early life.  It's a captivating read about a kidnapped girl who learns to love when she no longer has access to those who kept their love hidden from her...)
10/10

Drina Dances in Exile by Jean Estoril
Children's, 9 years +
(Life is very black and white for Drina, so it takes other people's guidance to show she isn't in exile at all...)
10/10

Skin Deep by Laura Jarrett
Young Adult
(Jenna suffers terribly, but thanks to Ryan she regains her confidence and the will to keep living....)
10/10

Mice by Gordon Reece
Young Adult
(3/4 of the book was unexpected, but in a good way!)
8/10

Talina in the Tower by Michelle Lovric
Children's, 9 years +
(Talina has to be very careful who she gets angry around, as magical things happen when her temper is invoked!)
10/10

Re-reads

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter
Young Adult
(It's even better on the re-read; now I know some of the things to keep an eye out for!)
10/10
