Summary from Quercus
Pack life is about order, but Bryn is about to push all the limits, with hair-raising results. At the age of four, Bryn watched a rabid werewolf brutally murder her parents. Alone in the world, she was rescued and taken in by Callum, the alpha of his pack. Now fifteen, Bryn's been as a human among werewolves, adhering to pack rule. Little fazes her. But the pack's been keeping a secret, and when Bryn goes exploring against Callum's orders, she finds Chase, a newly turned teen Were locked in a cage. Terrifying memories of the attack on her parents come flooding back. Bryn needs answers, and she needs Chase to get them. Suddenly, all allegiances to the pack no longer matter. It's Bryn and Chase against the werewolf world, whatever the consequences.
Nayuleska's reasons for loving Bryn...her voice is really funny and a joy to read. What she suffers is a bit hard to read, but she has enough people who love her to help take her in the right direction even when she can't find it herself.
Is there another character who deserves a mention? Yes! This is my second read, and I love Lane, a girl who adores weapons and is my favourite character after Bryn and Ali.
How evil/nasty is the enemy? Very nasty when no one realises what he is actually doing until it's nearly too late. Murder isnt a good thing either. Neither is abuse, regardless of why it happened.
Are there lots of plot twists and surprises? Seemed like one almost every page, even though I'd read it before I had forgotten enough that it was still very exciting.
One of my favourite parts was...whenever the twins were witb Bryn as they helped her to smile.
This thrilling and slightly horrific tale gets 9/10 from me.

Try the awesome Rachel Vincent series (which I've still only read the last book) which ends with Alpha.
