June 2015, Red Mountain Shadows Publishing, Audiobook version, Review copy

Content: mild romance, lots of humour

Book summary
Amelia Moore, founder of the Moore Detective Agency, specializes in missing persons. Her cases have taken her to some very interesting places and put her in some dangerous situations, but she always solves them. With the help of Rick Bonito, her sometime partner, her business is flourishing.

When Mrs. Brody hires Amelia and Rick to find her missing brother, they find themselves in Bali, Indonesia. They are mystified about why her brother quit his job, put his home up for sale, and ran off to this mysterious and exotic island without telling a soul.

Nayu's thoughts
This is the first ever audiobook review request! I was pretty excited to get such a request, even more so when I discovered it was a cozy mystery, a genre I adore right now. I wasn't disappointed. There are many tense moments in the story, especially towards the end. There's plenty of humour between Amelia and Rick, especially when they don't agree with each other.

The case they are on is extremely bizarre, with Amelia and Rick being trailed. Amelia is the one who made me laugh, her attitude towards those trailing them is hilarious, her don't-care attitude made her tale a joy to listen to.  I had no idea what the truth of the matter was, and was surprised when explanations finally came. I enjoyed learning a bit more about Bali, which I've heard about from a friend so I wasn't completely taken aback by how things work on Bali (slowly, sometimes hurried along with money). I truly am looking forward to the next book, and this is one to reread, or in my case relisten!
