Read

Tokyo Dare by Anne Van

10/10E

The Chocolate Box Girls: Summer's Dream by Cathy Cassidy
Children's, 11 years +
10/10E reread
(Having burnt out by working too hard in the past I totally relate to Summer's perfectionist nature and understand why she became anorexic. I'm glad someone looked out for her...)

A Horse called Hero by Sam Angus

10,/10E
(A war time drama you will need tissues for...)

Come to School Too, Blue Kangaroo! by Emma Chichester Clark

The Fox and It by Beanie Lei
Children's, Picture book
10/10E
(This is a hilarious tale of a too curious fox cub...)

Sir Princess Petra's Talent by Diane Mae Robinson

10/10
(A hilarious, lighthearted read!)

Billy and the Monster Who Loved to Fart by David Chuka
Children's, Picture book
10/10
(First book in a fun series...)

Kamori, Mystery of the Pau'i by P. A. Mundi
Children's, 11 years +
9/10
(A gripping read...)

As for the next two...the first is Acorna by Anne McCaffrey, as Meyu's upbringing by Anna reminded me so much of Acorna's upbringing by Gill, Rafik and Calum (hopefully I've remembered their names correctly!) The second is SPIRITS GATE whose epic nature is like Kamori in style and diversity of the creatures

Watched

Hanasaku Iroha

Shugo Chara!

Hanamaru Kindergarten
Anime, Japanese version
9/10
(This is a sweet, charming anime about a newly qualified male kindergarten teacher starting out - the children are adorable, and one of the teachers, Nanako Yamamoto, is voiced by the actress who played Akari in Aria the Animation!)

Amnesia
Anime, Japanese version
9/10
(Expect a review soon, as I've just finished rewatching this fab anime which hasn't had heaps of raving reviews (that I've seen))

Played
A little of Atelier Rorona - so much fun!

Made
Only a few rows of crochet, so nothing to show you. I have made a few tasty green smoothies - one was green, and one was pink - recipes & photos from me will be forthcoming!
