Summary from Puffin
When Holly is sent to Mrs Fig's Magic School, she learns that magic always leads to trouble, especially if the Wise Old Elf is involved . . .

Nayuleska's thoughts
I adored both the shape of the wings on Holly and her friends as well as the adorable wands with faces on them. It is part of a TV series tie-in, and unfortunately there was no mention of Ben in this book so I have no idea who he is. That and the fact the end felt a bit incomplete lowered the grade of this funny tale.

Suggested read
For friends who have a non-magical adventure try The Adventures of Abney and Teal: Bop's Hiccups by Joel Stuart (Children's, Picture book, 10/10)
