Read
The Farm by Emily McKay
Young Adult
(This dark dystopian is sweetened with a small but constant shred of hope and immense love between twin sisters...)
8/10
Fairy Lies by E D Baker
Children's, 11 years +
(Fairies, mermaids, trolls and sphinxes can be found in Tamisin's chaotic life...)
9/10
Prince Of Light by K C Rivers
Young Adult
(Evanthe's tale is incredible; it belongs with some other books that I literally hug and squee about!)
10/10
Dance Dreams by Malaika Rose Stanley
Children's, 9 years +
(Keisha learns that ballet and best friends CAN go together!)
10/10
Socks by Elizabeth Lindsay & Nick Sharratt
Children's, Picture book
(Bright, colourful and loud, this will bring delight to old and new sock lovers...)
10/10
Reread
Second Term At Trebizon by Anne Digby
Children's, 9 years +
(Although I half remembered the story, the plot twists still had a shocking effect on me.)
10/10
Watched
Spice and Wolf
Japanese, Anime
10/10
(I'm starting again from the beginning, in the hope I will watch it all this time. I had forgotten how funny it is!)
Shugo Chara
REWATCH! - Japanese, Anime
10/10
(I love Su, Amu's chara, how she thinks and her interesting views on life!)
Lilpri
REWATCH! - Japanese, Anime
10/10
(Now that the girls know who their idol Wish really is, it is easier for them to trust him...)
Bodacious Space Pirates
Japanese, Anime
10/10
(An awesome series, with a semi-predictable ending which didn't matter because I was having heaps of fun!!)
The Glass Mask
French, Anime
10/10
(I was as surprised as the heroine Laura when she realised what her teacher had been trying to make her learn [which easily verged on abuse due to the cruel training
method Laura is forced to undergo]...)
Kotoura-San
Japanese, Anime
10/10
(An incredible tale about a girl growing up with telepathy. It is simulcast a week or so after episodes premier in Japan, so I can't race ahead to the end yet! Drat!)
Eclipse aka Twilight #3
REWATCH! - Film, English
10/10
(This always cheers me up and never gets old. Might have skipped a scene I'm not keen on though...)
Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings
Animated, English
10/10
(I was able to focus on the characters more than the story. I love the feel good friendship vibes...)
Breaking Dawn #1 akaTwilight #4
REWATCH! - Film, English
10/10
(The final movie is out in just over a month - squee! Yes I skipped the romance scene and about 2 Jake scenes I find dull...)
Again no gaming and only a little sewing. Been really tired, which was probably the start of this cold I'm currently brewing. No photo today.
