Summary from Random House Children's Publishers
What do you run from?
Katelyn had only been in Wolf Springs a short time before she was bitten by a werewolf. And now she carries that creature’s curse in her veins.
But she’s not alone. Wolf Springs is home to a hidden family of werewolves, the Fenners – except they swear none of them bit her. Apparently there’s a monster on the loose – something wild and uncontrollable.
And to make matters worse, Katelyn’s struggling to resist her own animal urges. Especially around Trick and Justin. Should she follow her heart – or her instincts?

Nayuleska's thoughts
This was honestly a 10/10 read until the end. I love how Kat has to get to grips with her new wolf side. There's a lot of confusing emotions which readers can relate to because they are just human emotions magnified. I enjoyed when plot twists were revealed because I looked back over previous chapters and thought 'aha'. Kat's relationship with her grandfather is likable - aside from when she purposefully has to keep him in the dark and push him away. Confused would sum up her world, but thankfully I wasn't too confused when I read it. Kat is strong minded, but she learns some control and over the book she learns some details of werewolf culture which aid her at the end.
The end is brilliant, up until about the last 2 pages. The reason this is a 9/10 read is because I didn't entirely like Kat's decision. Personally she should have done the opposite. I think I can see why she did what she did, but it does partially seem a bit out of character from the perspective that I viewed her in. She'd have done better to not do what she did (this is a bit tricky not being able to say what happened). As for the cliff-hanger ending - it's both fantastic and really annoying. I'm all geared up for book 3 - which so isn't out yet. Drat!
