Nayu's Gaming Time #27 Lots of Game review links!

I've been very busy gaming lately, a lot I can't often discuss on Twitter straight away because they are review games which have embargos. Nayu's Gaming Time #18 Dragon Quest Builders 2 Demo First Impressions!

Seeint this screen was a magical moment!

SQUEEEEE!!!!!

It felt like such a long wait when the demo downloaded!
The fangirl in me is over the moon (which is a bizarre phrase) with joy at getting my hands on this demo a bit after 3pm yesterday. Bless Japan and their midnight eshop releases! For context please see my early review of DQB's first game in August. It is my favourite game ever and I am so hyped for the sequel, as some of you saw earlier this week in this excited post.

It is the demo so I don't know how much I will get to play, but oh it is so AMAZING!!!! It is everything I wanted and so much more. There's been a lot of improvement for the entire game, not that the first one was a bad game. There are a ton of new features which I haven't experienced yet, but here is what I loved:

Oh, if you follow me on Twitter (link in the side bar) you will be inundated with gaming tweets especially for this game. Blame the switch for making it so easy to post screenshots! I apologise for spoilers but I want to promote this game as much as I can! I'd game on Youtube if talking wasn't so tiring for me, hence the frequent game status tweets when I play it.

New features I love
  • Water droplets lasting a second or two after you've been in the water and/or looked around with the camera in the water.
Water droplets on the screen, plus water blocks are now blocks rather than plain water
  • Water blocks. How water is done in this game is way better than the previous game (which was fun, but in the sequel you can actually use water a lot more).
  • Character design: I loved the old one, but the two pony tails/bunches are adorable!
  • The fact that when sleeping my character snores which is exactly how my cat Belle snores!
  • Menu layout: I loved the old one, but the new one is cool and it's easier to build multiple items rather than doing them one at a time.
Menu!
  • Companions help me out by chopping up items
Cute starfish in the sea!
  • The new range of items: really excited to decorate my houses with starfish and shells for buildings by the beach!
  • The dash mode: being able to run fast for a decent amount of time, and for the recharge to be quick is a blessing.
Features I'm not fond of/have minor issues with
  • Character design: I hate hoop earrings in real life, and I hate having them on my character. Doubt there will be a way to change them - sigh.
  •
  • Companions helping me out: while it may sometimes be useful for them to copy my actions, them chopping up ittems that I wanted to keep whole is not fun!
  • How items are held: I'm fairly certain that in the first game, whatever I held above my head be it a block or an item, it was fairly close to my head. Whenever I do this in the sequel's demo it looks like I've mastered the ability to levitate items. It's amusing, I'm hoping it may be an error that's fixed in the full game, but I'm doubtful about it.
You can see the dialogue here
The game is taking me longer than the English version to play, because I'm reading the Japanese, and I'm a slow reader. The fact they are using furigana on the kanji (letters above the words that aren't spelled out using other letters) makes it so much easier to understand what the words mean, saving me looking them up. I don't know them all, but so long as I get the gist of the sentence I'm okay with that. The furigana is a bit small, I've yet to play on the big screen, but them being there at all is a miracle. Whenever I'm not entirely sure of a word I simply make up what I think it could be! I've had a few amusing times thanks to mistranslation: there's one part on the pirate ship where I had to put down some flaming torches. I mistakenly thought I had to put a whole load around a hole in the deck. When nothing happened I looked about and realised thanks to little pointers on screen I was meant to place the torches on specific blocks! Another mistake was where to place some barrels. Ho hum!
exploration!

I am getting the full game in Japanese, and in truth it will be a long time after the release of the game in English that I'll get that version due to the expense. I suspect I will get the DLC for the JP ver, and possibly get the JP online subscription so I can see what other people do. I'm not great at building, although I enjoy it a lot, so I am starting to watch Youtube guides for ideas on how to create structures. I want to get better at building!

Spoiler alert

One thing which you need to be aware of is that the game is a lot sadder than the previous one. Several of the characters you meet on the ship die, including my beloved slime! Seeing it dead in the water was horrifying, more so when it just disappeared, an action commonly seen in anime. I was traumatised by the experience because the slimes are my favourite monster! I suspect that's not the only tragedy I'll witness in the game, unfortunately. To prevent total spoiling I'm not including the images here.

Spoiler end

I can't seem to work out how to do multiple saves: there's an autosave, and a generic save but there's only one slot for it. So I've done a lot of exploring without saving to see what there is, because my hunger meter is present from the very start of the game (unlike the first game which had the hunger meter take time to appear) and because I haven't quite completed the quests I don't have a permanent source of food yet.

The characters are hilarious, they use a variety of speech patterns which I can recognise in Japanese. I'm in love with the girl Lulu, she is quite a character and I'm hoping nothing bad happens to her. I do wish I could have her pretty dress though.

That's it for my initial thoughts on this demo: I hope you've enjoyed it and if you want 'live' reactions come follow me on Twitter! The full game is out 20th December on the Japan Eshop. Unlike other games which sometimes use their English form, this is purely in Japanese. Let me know if you're getting the Japenese version or waiting until the English version is released!
Holo the Wise wolf from Spice and Wolf wishes you a good day!

Warriors Orochi 4 (Nintendo Switch version) Review

October 19th 2018, Nintendo Switch / PS4/ Xbox One / PC / Nintendo Switch code was given for this review

All pictures are from my gameplay, copyright to Koei Techmo Games

Naotora's ultimate deification attack shows how much I love this game: the only reason I couldn't give it top marks was down to a few elements which I'll discuss later in this review.
Now this isn't my usual type of game. I love Role Playing Games (RPGS) Japanese RPGS, life simulation games, and rhythm games. I mostly like cute looking games – obviously a fighting based game isn't exactly cute, but as you can see some of the female characters
Guan Yingping was my second favourite, I totally want her hairstyle!
As I've previously mentioned, I came across this game which was up for review after some info about it's world record for the highest amount of playable characters. I love the intricacy on all the costumes, especially the girls, which is why I have another game from the series which has less characters but they come from a wider range of series, Warriors All Stars.
I hadn't played much of it because I didn't understand the game at all. Thanks to Warriors Orochi 4 I should be able to play it confidently now!

While I waited for the game to download on my Switch I did more research on the game, and  promptly panicked because it turns out Orochi is to do with an 8 headed snake which has appeared in previous games. I have a snake phobia. No need to say any more. I prayed hard that this would be slightly different to Warriors Orochi 3 (Which is weirdly the name of WO4 in Japan) and thankfully it is. No snakes involved, apart from having to find snake bracelets in the world.

It is a little frustrating playing the game because I wanted to post some pictures of the game play, but there was an embargo on that so I had to be vague in what I said. Somehow game embargos are way harder than a book review embargo.

Honestly speaking, I got extremely lost in the story - I struggle with several different points of views in books, let alone over 170 characters from various clans with their own tale. Unless I care about a family a lot I forget who likes/hates/loves each other, who is an ally etc. All I really knew throughout my playtime was that enemies needed bringing down, there were a few of them with vast armies. Yeah, when I'm confused I make up my own story ^u^ I feel this type of game is more focused on the fighting than the story like an RPG/JRPG would, but that is my own opinon. Many gamers will love the story, it's simply not the right type for me.

Despite knowing next to nothing about what I was doing initially as a newbie to the hack and slash genre, I managed to get to grips with the game play quite easily. My initial concern of needing to remember which buttons to press for certain moves was unfounded: yes there are combinations for each character which differ, and there probably are deeper tactics but on easy level you can get away with finding your favourite move and using it almost all the time. Admittedly it took me several chapters for me to realise that what I thought was the magic meter was in fact the musou meter. That was an area that I wish had had more of an introduction: you get told to that there is a meter in the tutorial pages but you aren't shown a diagram of the meters. I used a magic move for most of the game: these types of moves are new to the series in WO4, and are so much fun. It took me most of the game to realise that using magic wasn't always the move with the strongest power.

Best girl Lady Hayakawa is a legend!!! (despite not getting a deification mode)
I was in love with Lady Hayakawa, I used her as the main character in the team, despite being a surprise that my best girl didn't have deification powers. I wanted to use her as the sole character, but I quickly learnt there is no I in team. Her magic, which like everyone else's came from artifacts called Sacred Treasures, involved having a magical beast (a boar?) run around terrorising the enemy. It was a blast!!!! Having the power to mow enemies down with a mystical creature made the combat hilarious with my thoughts of 'you can't run for long' or 'Go pig, go!' I'm fairly sure that probably wasn't what the developers had in mind when they created the attack, but then I don't feel I'm a typical reviewer for these types of games.
Look at the determination in her eyes! You don't want to mess with her!!
I'm used to having a few enemies, not dozens upon dozens (or hundreds in the final few chapters). It was extremely daunting, yet somehow I didn't die in the normal levels on easy mode. I died when I tried the hard pandemonium mode, when this creature (demon?) appears in a random chapter that you've already completed, and all the game elements are cranked up to a crazy hard level. I wanted to play it at least once, but I simply couldn't win so I ditched that attempt.

I got fairly vocal with this game, something I generally don't do. What else was I supposed to do when I had an ally defect to the other side! My objections were along the lines of 'how dare you?' and 'you were supposed to be my friend!' This game certainly made me feel a lot of emotions, that's for sure. I may not have understood the myriad of connections between people individually and the clans they belonged to, or managed to fully grasp the story, but I did care for them and did want them all to be safe. It's quite weird how so many of the enemies eventually become allies – guys and girls who were determined to defeat me eventually joined my party and were playable.

The side quests definitely helped flesh out friendships, some were absolutely hilarious - it was the same battle system but there were parents pitted against their children over something trivial which had me smiling all the way through. Some were more serious like getting an ally away from an enemy. I thought that the collecting info side quest might not involve fighting, but it did. There isn't exactly extra game content post finishing the game - you can try all the difficulties and try to get triple S score for each battle, but that's all I could find.

Go girl power!
I didn't play with any defectors except for Athena, which means it's almost time to talk about the characters. Aside from the magic and musou attacks (which were cool in the variety – I liked the ninja look of some moves where the character appears to multiply herself), there was a party musou attack (I think that's what it's called) which had the characters you chose in your support team plus your 3 main team members do a combined attack which totally had me feeling like it might be an Asian version of Winx Club magic.
I couldn't find a picture of them all in the air combing their power, but you get the idea. As soon as I saw the group attack I was so happy because Winx Club is one of my favourite anime! I'm going with the French definition of anime, as it sounds more accurate than the word cartoon.

I get to fly as Naotora!
Then there's the fact that a few characters were able to transform into the gods and goddesses they gained powers from via the bracelets. I studied ancient history as my degree so I knew about the Greek gods and goddesses (not that I liked many in this game). Oh my word they are incredible!!!! My first transformation was Naotora Ii, whose normal and goddess uniform really could have been a bit more modest, but playing with her made it feel like I was an angel. Just look at those wings! I loved her as a character because in her attacks she always apologises for hurting people, a sweet characteristic, but she eventually got booted out from my party as soon as one of my favourites, Guan Yinping got her deity power and could transform into a goddess form.
Guan Yinping transforming - she still keeps her green clothes theme
My favourite attack of hers was the way she did a dance that annihilated the enemies around her.
Now that I've thought of Winx it makes sense that I love Guan Yinping so much because I love Flora who is a nature fairy, who also has the main colour of green.
Flora uses nature attacks! & I'm good at working anime into a review ^u^

I used Athena when I eventually got her, which was far further into the game than I liked. It took me until almost the end to realise I could take her mask off in battle by setting a costume option. She looks kind and gentle without her mask. I wasn't fond of her armour either, and was permanently amused by her weapon or shield being the aegis: I haven't got far in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but the central character Pyra is the highest blade of all: you've guessed it, the aegis! If only Pyra could have been in WO4.
Please Koei Techmo!

While I didn't use all the characters I liked in the first play through of the game, I tried out their moves in the rather handy mock battle feature, which meant I didn't have to take a gamble and use them in an actual battle without knowing their style. There isn't much post game activity that I can tell, although I will play with characters I didn't use, because I chose stronger characters (with deification ability) closer to the end. I didn't try any of the guys as I'm not interested in them. There are way more guys than girls, which was a bit disappointing, but I wasn't surprised by this.

When characters level up there's the ability to give them certain assets which can aid you in battle. There are so many to choose from, you get the assets through battles and some have a level scheme of their own to increase their strength. You get a bit of choice which assets you award them first – you can also award assets to the main camp , but that took an awful lot of in game money so I barely made any improvements.

The sheer amount of weapons is staggering, with each character seeming to have a different one. I think there were certain types of weapons used but don't ask me what they are as I don't know and can't remember. At the end of every battle you gain a load of weapons (more if you equip a certain asset). At first the weapon quality is low, and you can add elements to the weapon using in game money, but the more powerful weapons needed a different item to change them, which was harder to get. I played around a little with the weapons, but didn't get too involved with them. Apparently horses could be use to attack enemies, I never used that skill, I simply used them to rush from one end of the battle field to the other when certain numpties had trouble follow them around.

The aim of each battle was to reach a certain objective: this did not always mean to kill every enemy officer (who had loads of minions with them). I died once or twice because I didn't stick to the main objective. I objected strongly when one of the people I was supposed to protect acted like an utter moron, resulting in my family wondering why I was moaning at him. I was at the opposite end of the map, helping get rid of enemies so some allies could pass, and the numpty got into trouble. I dutifully raced to him, got rid of his his enemies, then went back to those I needed to help. Let's just say the incompetent idiot invited trouble and had me racing back many times before the chapter ended. I swear he waltzed up to enemies and begged them to make his health decrease which made me lose the chapter twice before I could complete it.

Slightly worse than those issues and allies defecting was when an enemy 'died' and then reappeared over 5 times in a chapter! He wouldn't stay down! Cue even more vocal objections from me. I shouldn't have been surprised because this can happen in other games, but it was jolly annoying having the chapter's objective change whenever the enemy reappeared. It was slightly funny when I thought I completed a chapter, only to have an ambush brought upon me.

The graphics are mostly not a cute style that I prefer, because they involve a battlefield, but it did make me feel like I was in a great war somewhere in Asia with the square buildings, various walls and fortresses. I occasionally stopped and looked about because in the heat of battle all I focus on was staying alive and defeating the enemy rather than admiring the architecture. There's a lot of detail put in which I guess gets missed because of how chaotic the games are, but those moments when I looked at the background I felt more immersed in the game.

No idea who this is or where she is from, but she definitely looks as if she'd fit in the Warriors Orochi 4 cast!
The music and sound effects did a fabulous job of creating a battle atmosphere. When main enemies died there would be specific cries which were music to my ears because it meant one section of the enemy force was weakened. I got really into the battles with the sound on, although I had to have it off for quite a bit when I was ill because I get sensitive to certain sounds, and listening to game music almost always makes me feel worse during those times.

I think I've covered everything I enjoyed about the game.. I will play Warriors All Stars with more confidence and I look forward to future Warriors games, so long as they don't involve snakes that much. I may not play for the story, which usually is why I play the games I do, but because I want to learn more about the characters and simply have fun running down enemies with a boar, if the magic element appears in the future.

While I'm new to the genre, and I liked a lot of the game play, there were a few issues which bring the rating down to 8/10E. I would have liked a few more girls, given how many guys there are. I would have liked some of the costumes to be more modest, which seems more realistic (no self-respecting ancient warrior would run around without any armour, or in hardly any clothes unless they were truly invincible.) Additionally I think there were glitches within the game: sometimes either the magic or the musou moves didn't fully activate: I could see the character doing the action of the move, but the light wouldn't strike enemies down which it did for most of the time.

Another main issue which was annoying is that the characters I used were rarely acknowledged as being key to completing the chapter. I know that there are a zillion character combinations, so the developers had to stick with some for the story, but patting characters on the back who weren't in my party who did almost all the visible effort in the fight was jolly frustrating. Frequently it was the guys who were praised leaving me fuming at the lack of recognition of my hard working girls. It provided amusement when the key people in the chapters' stories were my characters, because it meant I had to protect a look-alike , who more often than kept me on my toes as they ran around the battleground.

The final point is more of a wishlist item than an issue: I wanted more than 3 in my party! There were support party members but I'm used to having up to 4 members in a party, 3 makes it trickier.

I did get some S ranks, but not triple S
I liked how each chapter rates you on a variety of areas: quite a lot of mine were low so I'm very proud of getting a triple A score!

I think that's just about everything. I'd like to say a massive thank you to Koei Techmo for giving me a review copy of the game, my first official review copy for any console. I hope I can review more games for publishers in the future because this experience broadened my gaming skills and provided over 40 hours of fun.

This was almost as fun as a Miku game! (& that's really saying something) Thank you! (random Miku fanart from online)

Nayu's Gaming Time #13 First Impressions of Shining Resonance Refrain (8/10E, JRPG)

Got this version...which took several minutes to wrestle from the tin as told over in my Twitter feed with photos.
10th July 2018, PS4 & Nintendo Switch, Rated 12 years + (UK) Teen (US)

I've been busy mostly resting as I had a family event on Sunday, but I have been enjoying a lot of gaming. I thought I'd share my first impressions of the JRPG Shining Resonance Refrain, which I actually pre-ordered because it looked amazing. It's not quite as great as I'd expected, but it is still a good game, hence the 8/10E rating. Here's the description from Amazon.

Summary
Liberate the soul of the dragon that resides in you this Summer in Shining Resonance Refrain! Coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, Shining Resonance Refrain will tell the tale of sword wielding Yuma and his friends as they fight the Empire. Shining Resonance Refrain remasters the original Shining Resonance, previously released on PlayStation 3 only in Japan, and features dual audio with English and Japanese voices. In addition to all of the original's DLC, now included as part of the base "Original Mode," Shining Resonance Refrain packs a new "Refrain Mode," unlocking the Imperial Princess Excelled and Dragon slayer Jinas as party members for a new experience - just be sure to save this for your second play through to avoid any spoilers!"

I didn't full play the demo, or look up much online about the game before it was released because I wanted to have an unbiased view when I played it. I'm playing the non-refrain mode despite whating the Imperial Princess as my main character really really badly. I've seen on Youtube why it is mostly important not to play refrain first, but you can if you really don't mind that the extra characters won't get explained by the story why they are fighting with you.

Kilika is highly skilled...but has pointy ears. Sigh.
The little I played had me loving the characters (apart from Yuma who really annoys me with his indecision and how much he hates his power), with Kilika and Sonia (names may be spelled wrong as I think of Japanese rs as ls because that's what they often sound like) as my top favourites so far, along with the spunky Primula who is for now too little to join my party (such a shame as she has guts and an incredible work ethic for one so young).

The parts I don't like are kind of a big issue, because they are the aspects I like the most about JRPGS. I learnt online there is only ONE town in the entire game. One. I'm used to many towns to explore, with different architecture and a huge variety of costumes. Cue my first grumble.

The next is about the town itself - apart from cut scenes (along the lines of a visual novel) I can't enter any of the buildings to explore the rooms and shops for myself. Everything is done via a character on the outside and a menu opening up when I speak with them. Not a happy gamer! I like my shops having actual rooms to explore!!!
Here's Sonia's armour costume, which does a grand job of making her look like a warrior princess...apart from the chest area whih I'm not fond of but that's what you get in games.

The 3rd grumble is still about the town - so many of the NPCs don't say a word! it's extremely handy that they get a speech bubble when they have a quest (which are so far mostly easy to accomplish), but when I can't even get a hello/good day from a silent NPC it's a bit odd considering how so many JRPGS do have unimportant NPCs talk. Oh and I can walk through chickens/cats as if they weren't there. The animals are realistic and cute, but I want them to make a noise, or at least not be living ghosts.

That's pretty much the end of my grumbles. While not as awesome as I'd expected (which was why I pre-ordered it in the first place) it is a fun game. I chose the casual setting, which I don't know if it had an impact on the way I play battles: you can change which character to play with in a battle at any time you like, as well as on the field! This gives you more control over which skills get used - while you can instruct how you want the party to fight (with a neat little music based action) and instruct the characters you aren't in control of individually (whether they fight/heal/don't fight), I'm not yet that good at it. I simply switch between the two girls depending who has used their skill power up the most, since when I play I can avoid using the skills that deplete the skill power. While it is immensely cool that Yuma turns into a dragon I'm not fond of him at all.

I'm hoping this is an outfit I can eventually unlock because it is so pretty (although I'd have preferred sleeves on the dress rather than sleeveless with gloves)
Ah, just remembered my final grumble. It's fun how the characters can change outfits, but I'd have liked some more variety, especially when Sonia has over 6 swimming costumes (which is a laugh because they are bikinis rather than an actually all in one costume. It's bad enough I have to put up with pointy ears (I'm weird and don't like this feature on elves) and the groany Yuma, I would have liked some more variety! I mostly keep Sonia in her armour (picture above) or school outfit (not pictured), and Kilika in her Magic Diva outfit (pictured above) or Idol outfit (not pictured). I want to like Sonia's idol outfit, but the hat makes her look ridiculous. I'm in a vague hurry to finish this post so I'm not posting images for all outfits, that will happen in future posts about the game (I've got many screenshots from the game itself!)

I've only managed to get the girls to use the Armonics (their instruments which act as weapons) a few times by accident (this activates a music themed action which is really cool), but I love them both. It's fun raining arrows on enemies using Kilika, who is the main healer (oh so vital in tough fights. One fight I'm not yet able to win as the boss is so tough, but I hope to annihilate them later), or go stab stabity stab with a sword thanks to Sonia. There are special skills that can be allotted to weapons (think Final Fantasy 7 weapon slots), skills that the instruments can learn through being tuned - several systems to level up your characters. I don't know if what clothes they wear affects them during battle, but the sheer fun of the battles heavily counters the grumbles I have with the game.
A battle pic from Google (not got those characters yet)

It hasn't been the incredible game which I'd hoped it to be, but Shining Resonance Refrain is fun and I'm eager to progress with the story - the problem is I have the tendency to want to kill all monsters in the area my characters find themselves before moving on. This is good for getting quest materials, though not so great for advancing the story and getting new characters (one has been mentioned and I'm waiting for her to join my party). Only Yuma turns into a dragon (not all of them as I'd mistakenly thought), there's the pointy ears and all my grumbles mostly about the sole town, but overall I do recommend this as an addition to your JRPG collection (which is different to RPG (role playing games (J = Japanese RPG)) on either the PS4 or the Switch.

The next gaming post should be about the game that has blown me away, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, being everything I ever wanted in a game and then some. Clue: it's a bit like the anime Elemental Gelade.
I love Pyra so much!!!!

Nayu's Gaming Time #7 Games I'm currently playing

No idea who this is, but she's cute, which many of my gaming characters are!
Hi all! As Autumn/Winter continues bringing colder weather I'm getting in more & more rest since my body so doesn't function properly at this time of year. That means lots of gaming is happening - yay! The arrival of my PS4 means I've mostly played PS4 games. That includes
Hatsune Miku Project Diva X:
The songs on this Miku installment are fun, I like the stage style shows, and there's a novel way of getting outfits (although I wish that game play would stop during the outfit change so I can fully take in the beauty of the modules (the game's name for clothes)

Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone

The ultimate of ultimate Miku games, with over 200 songs (it's in 2 packs but I bought the bundle which allows me to switch hairstyles too! Sadly can't switch clothes/hairstyles between different characters. I mostly play as Miku, Luka and Rin.
I've played all the easy songs, trying to do some normal ones but some of the button presses are more complex and extremely challenging. Normal level has more songs than easy including my favourites. I have recently downloaded the 2nd and 3rd bonus packs (think they were free...) which got me one of my favourite songs, Hand in Hand. You can see it on Youtube. I've watched a few PVs, where you can take photos at any point, which are then shown as the unfortunately short loading screen images!

World of Final Fantasy

This is super cute, I love the FF10 style of skill upgrades for all the monsters captured. I haven't got too far yet, but I'm absolutely loving it! The inability to save whenever I want does limit when I play it, as I need to allow at least an hour because I've no idea where the save points are. I'm so fortunate to have ended up with a 1st day release version, so I can happily have the Japanese voice over!! I always prefer this to English.
Blue Reflection

Aside from the distinct lack of transformation scenes it is an incredible game. I love going on the missions to increase my character stats, and learning more about all the girls involved with Hinako. The fight scenes most definitely have a magical girl feel!
Right now on my PS3 I'm working through
 Atelier Totori

This is after the frustrating Atelier Rorona which I did want to give up on - the time limit restriction was insane, and meant I couldn't explore as much as I usually do. Thankfully Totori's limits aren't that obvious. I am restarting the game because the parts I've played I did things I really didn't need to do (which I think advanced the time along), so by starting from the beginning I'm hoping to save a few days. I absolutely love this game! Totori is super cute and funny, trying to stand up to her older sister who doesn't want her to be an adventurer. Every element is charming and I'm so playing this again (unlike Atelier Rorona...)

That's it for this round-up - next time I'll focus on my Nintendo 3DS games! I'd love to hear what you're playing on recently.

I mostly play on my own, which is still super fun!
