Summary from Bloomsbury
The
Royal Palace is in chaos yet AGAIN, but what on earth could be the
cause of all the excitement? Yes, you've guessed it - there's a new baby
on the way!
The nursery has been prepared (royal rocking horse? Check! Royal teddy bears? Check!),
the balloons and bunting are up (the young prince's auntie is quite the party planner, you know)
and the welcome committee is ready and waiting at the palace gates.
Everyone is excited. Everyone, EXCEPT the Royal Baby.
Waaah! Waaah! Waaah!
Oh dear. Is there enough room in the palace for TWO royal babies? It looks like the Duke and Duchess have got their work cut out for them! - See more at: http://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/hooray-its-a-new-royal-baby-9781408865712/#sthash.y5OygTgJ.dpuf

Nayu's thoughts
This funny read was meant for when England's latest
princess, Princess Charlotte
was born. It's a continuation of some other royal baby books so uses
characters I'm familiar with, who really do look like their real life
counterparts.
I liked how all the feelings of the older sibling is explored, the excitement, the worry of being forgotten about and left
out. Thankfully that's not the case at all, but there certainly is a
lot to prepare for a new baby. Regardless of whether they are royal,
children who are soon to be a big brother or sister will benefit from
reading this book.
There's
so much to look at in the pictures, which definitely tell a huge part
of the story.
Suggested read
Other books in the series include Happy Birthday Royal Baby by Martha Mumford and Ada Grey (Children's, Picture book, 10E/10E, short 'n' sweet review)
