Nayuleska's thoughts
As soon
as I saw this book was up for reviewing I simply had to request it becaused I
loved Norman the Snail so much. The brightly coloured style fits the feel of
the story - there's always a sense of hope even when it looks like Doug is
about to be someone's dinner. Doug uses his head to help both himself and
someone else, which in turn benefits Doug and Trevor at the end. Friendship is
all about give and take, and Doug's adventure shows readers that giving is
better than receiving, and sometimes the favour is returned although this
shouldn't always be expected.
