Nayuleska's thoughts
I'm not into Valentine's day at all, but I
loved learning more about Luce's protectors, seeing what made them tick and how
they relate to what Luce & Daniel are going through. Shelby's softer side
shines through when Miles loses his trademark cap. It was hilarious how much
she kept reciting lip gloss as a reason to keep her charade going just so she
and Miles can get home.
I saw a bit of Roland's past which isn't something he'd
openly speak about. Cam is Cam! Luce and Daniel do feature throughout the
novellas, and I'd forgotten how much I love Luce's steadfast resolution when
she makes a decision about something and sticks with it in this 9/10 read. The
romance side of things annoyed me a little, hence the grade.
You can find out more about the Fallen
series on Lauren's website.
