What are you reading? #97

What are you reading on Monday? is a weekly meme hosted by Rachel at Home Girl's Book Blog where you post books completed last week and plans for upcoming books. Jump over to her blog and see who else is participating.

Books I've read this week

The Other Life by Susanne Winnacker
February 2012
Young Adult, Dystopian
(This is a dystopian with a smattering of hope which can be missing from other dystopians...exactly why I read it!)
10/10

A Knowing Look and Other Stories by Rebecca Enim
Short Story Collection
(You need tissues from the first story on; they are very moving and make you think about life....)
8/10

Grave Witch by Kalayna Price
Urban Fantasy
(I can't stress how amazing this book is - it's funny, clever, has magic and I love it so much I'd read it again right now (but I have other books to read!)!)
10/10

The Donut Diaries of Dermot Milligan: Revenge is Sweet by Anthony McGowan
Children's
(This sequel to 'The Donut Diaries of Dermot Milligan' is hilarious, with an obvious plot but it's how the gang reaches the satisfying finale which makes it a fun read...)
10/10

Re-reads
These are the reading adventures I'm undertaking in addition to my weekly reads at that most perfect hour of the day....right before lights out.  What better time to settle in with an old (or not so old) favorite....and so the "re-reads" category was born.  Currently going through.....

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Young Adult
I'm pretty sure this doesn't need much of an explanation - I do confess I'm enjoying it more the second time round (as in I enjoyed it 4/5s before the baseball match).

Currently reading

Shugo Chara vol 2
Manga
(It's interesting having Shugo not enjoy her transformations, and hanging back until she beleives in herself to use them....)

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
(I've only just started this re-read. ...)
