Teen romance (mild to moderate), lots of tension,

Summary from Penguin US
Ashlyn Greenfield has always known when bad things are going to happen. Each time that familiar tingling at the back of her neck begins, she knows what's to come: a trance. She's pulled in, blindsided, an unwilling witness to a horrible upcoming event. But she's never been able to stop it:not even when the vision was of her mother's fatal car accident. When soulful Jake enters Ashlyn's life, she begins having trances about another car accident. And as her trances escalate, one thing becomes clear: it's up to her to save Jake from near-certain death

Nayuleska's Thoughts
The concept of this book pulled me in first, and I'm glad it did. The concept of a trance telling something about the future is quite a lot to deal with. But add to the fact that Ashlyn's sister, who all but vanishes from her life after their mother's death, also has the ability of trancing (I'm making up words as I go along!), that's something extra for Ashlyn to live with. I was mad at her sister for most of the novel. I mean, Ashlyn needs her! Her - no, their father almost seems to want to keep them separate. Which isn't what Ashlyn needs. The trance never comes on its own. And its the other stuff (my mouth is sealed) which play a large part on Ashlyn's life. There's only a certain amount of time she can keep it all from Jake. And how much she keeps secret could cost him his life. Not that I needed that as a reason to keep reading - it's a readable book, with fun characters beside Ashlyn. I'm hoping there might be another book about what happens next (something I hope in every single book I read, so nothing new).

Final Conclusion
If life ever gives you an inkling that something bad might happen, listen to that inkling.

Linda and all her books can be found on her website.

If you like this, definitely check out Lisa McMann's trilogy beginning with Wake.
