September 2016, Templar, 32 pages, Paperback, Review copy
Book summary
Stockton the cat is extremely clever and very good at everything.
Especailly knitting. He is excellent at knitting. If you are very
lucky, he will show you how he knits a fancy scarf. He never gets in a
tangle at all. Never. Not even a little bit.
Nayu's thoughts
A must read for
cat lovers! I saw the cover and laughed - I adore cats, know all
about their attitude issues (my own cat has attitude the size of an elephant), plus I love yarn craft. Stockton is
self-assured and good at a lot of things but mistakenly thinks he is
great at knitting. He isn't! It was fun watching the bright pink yarn
get in more of a state with each passing page, while Stockton remained
convinced he was amazing at it.
The super cute mice are always active
in the scene living their lives, and as Stockton finds out their
hardworking atttude helps save him from being laughed at. I had great
fun imagining what other activities they must help Stockton with
while convinced that he can do anything, and hope there will be at least a sequel!
