(A bit spooky but fascinating short tales about living dolls!)
Tea and Chemo by Jackie Buxton

(A frank and amusing account of living with cancer and the treatments involved...)
Hamish and the Neverpeople by Danny Wallace and Jamie Littler

8/10E
(A funny save the world [and alternate world] read!)
Sammy the Shy Kitten by Holly Webb and Sophy Williams

10E/10E
(A super cute tale about taming half wild kittens!)
Waiting for Callback by Perdita and Honor Cargill

Ballet Stars #1 Perfect Pirouette by Jane Lawes
Children's, 9 years +
10E/10E
(Awesome ballet boarding school series with real hardship and moral dilemmas as well as true friendship!)
Princess Diaries #3 by Meg Cabot
Young Adult
NOT FINISHED - 10E/10E
(Mia forever provides humour when I need it in her life as a princess...)
A Frozen Scoop of Murder 1-6 by Constance Barker
Cozy Mystery
NOT FINISHED - 10E/10E
(A super fun bundle of mysteries all based around an ice cream shop!)
A Christmas Tail: Complete Primrose Lane collection by Cressida McLaughlin
Contemporary Fiction, Romance
10/10E
(An amusing story of 4 novellas about Cat as she sets up a dog walking business...)
Watched
Elemental Gelade
Adventure Anime, Japanese version
REWATCH - 10E/10E
(I love Ren! Her outfits are gorgeous, and every episode makes me happy [even when she's in trouble]...)
Winx Magical Adventure
Film, French version
REWATCH - 10E/10E
(I skipped the parts I didn't like in this slightly alternate winx world film...)
Winx: Season 4
Magical Girl Anime, French version
REWATCH - 10E/10E
(I was crying when Naboo died, as it's horrid but lovely at the same time...)
Aikatsu
Music Idol Anime, Japanese version
REWATCH - 10E/10E
(I'm skipping across all the seasons at the moment, seeing the latest in season 4, rewatching season 1, and having the most fun in season 3 with Sumire and Akari finding their own paths [singer & weathercaster])
Twilight
Paranormal movie, English version
REWATCH - 10E/10E
(Perfect when I wasn't feel great but wanted something light hearted which I knew well: Twilight fulfils all of those!)
Pripara
Music Idol Anime, Japanese version
10E/10E
(I'm adoring the new series – Falulu is back! I accidentally read about the plot online was shocked by what happens in later episodes that aren't out yet – it's great!)
Kobato
Magical Girl Anime, Japanese version
10E/10E
(Kobato is super cute, and starts getting rewards for helping others without realising she is doing so...)
Is the Order A Rabbit?
Slice of Life Anime, Japanese version
10E/10E
(Was so sad when this cute anime ended, but apparently there's a second season so will be keeping an eye out for that!)
Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future
Music Idol Anime, Japanese version
REWATCH - 10E/10E
(It makes a huge difference watching in subtitles: the first time I watched this show some of the later episodes were raw [no subs], and I didn't like how Aira acted about Sho but now I know the truth I understand her actions and felt sorry for her, rather than being annoyed.)
Non Non Biyori
Slice of Life Anime, Japanese version
10E/10E
(A cute country themed anime where a girl starts her new school which only has 5 students in total!)
Crafts and more!
It's been a busy few weeks (been ill, done stuff, been ill) and since one project I'm working on is a secret all I can really show you is progress on the alphabet animals sampler I'm working on – I've nearly finished the alphabet part!
Oh I did play on Winx Butterflix Adventure – had to borrow a family's ipad despite me loathing all things Apple, because the game included trading cards and sounded super fun. I'm glad it was only £2, as yes it was fun solving puzzles but I prefer Winx Magical School game which has more interaction with familiar characters, has repetition which somehow is never boring, and may not have cards to collect but is something I keep returning to. The Butterflix game lets you play with actual Winx characters (start off with Bloom), but its not something I'll play often, if again.
