Nayu's thoughts
As you can see this is a mega cute tale of a daddy panda helping his son panda be less afraid of the dark. I kind of wish I had this when I was little, as the way the father shows his son there's nothing to be afraid of is clever and effective. I eagerly turned over each page not knowing what would happen next (which isn't always the case in these types of stories). The level of love and trust between them is evident in their behaviour, I feel readers will benefit from what this story teaches, and will love the night confidence that they gain, as well as encouragement to trust their family to take care of them no matter what.
