Nayuleska's thoughts
Holly's
books are always adorable and nail-biting reads. Caramel's story had more of an
impact on me because my current cat went through a similar ordeal, except she
had broken her pelvis and was emaciated along with the broken leg. I cried a
lot watching Caramel unable to understand why his leg was different.
The way he
grew to love being stroked in certain places while he was sick is exactly the
same for Belle, as is the fear and desperation Helen had when Caramel went
missing-I've stayed up a few times when Belle, normally a home cat, was
absent. I enjoyed the friendship between
Helen and her older cousin, it was like they were sisters, and it was fun
seeing Helen's grandmother help with caring for Caramel. Another fantastic read
by Holly!

Another of Holly's cute books which has a Question & Answer session with Holly(! I'm quite the fangirl for anything by Holly) is The Scruffy Puppy (Children's, 7 years +, 10E/10E)
