This is a mega cute book set for a child and their mother. All the books are written by different authors and illustrators, yet each had me wanting to pick up the various creatures and give them a huge hug as their fur looked so soft and warm, which are characteristics I associate with loving mothers. Each tale promotes a tight, compassionate bond between mother and child, activities they can do together, and feelings which can be hard to express. The card is a nice addition, with fun stickers to decorate it or anything else that needs decorating. A few of the hearts on the front flap are cut out, showing the background colours.
