Book summary

Nayu's thoughts
I loved the look of Lulu on the cover which is why I said yes to reviewing this musical themed book. Lulu looks like she's enjoying herself, having so much fun doing something she is passionate about. Unfortunately her hobby is a tad noisy, which disturbs various creatures along the way. The illustrations especially of the squirrel had me giggling away because he looked very unhappy about being disturbed. The bright colours compliment the atmosphere of the story's rhyming verses which are memorable and easy for younger readers to remember as there is some repetition. Lulu learns a valuable lesson about being considerate for others when doing something noisy, something that everyone should be aware of (no playing the drums or any other musical instrument at 2am!)

Suggested read
Another fun read with bright colours and a friendship theme is Billy Bee: Sugar Plums and Honey by Paris Brosnan (Children's, Picture book, 10/10E)
