Summary from Little Tiger Press
Little Why just can’t stay in line. There is so much to see – like
Giraffe’s long-lofty leggy legs and Wildebeest’s spiny-spiky horns. Why
can’t he have legs and horns like them? And then Little Why spots
Crocodile’s snippy-snappy teeth… Look out!
Nayu's thoughts
A cute
book for little questioners who want to be different and don't fully
know that being themselves is more than okay. While I don't have children
I have been around inquisitive minds who constantly ask why. Little
Why gets almost literally underfoot and feels that every animal apart
from him has a useful feature about themselves.
It's a great way to
learn about animals, to see that the grass is not greener on the
other side-everyone has elements which make them special and unique. The
watercolour style of illustrations fita well with the atmosphere of
the tale, and helps the animals look realisitic. A must have on your
bookshelf!
