Nayu's thoughts
This
book is an accurate representation of what life can be for modern
babies. It involves a lot of technology, heaps of photos and social
network updates about what baby is doing. Everything seems centred on
sharing what the baby is doing rather than it's family simply
enjoying its presence and exploration of baby's new world. My
traditionalist self is countered by understanding how important such
photos and updates are for friends and family who can't necessarily
be there all of the time. The illustrations are pleasing to look at,
and made me think a lot about what friends do with their babies.
