Nayu's thoughts
As someone who is still a bit afraid of the dark (I'm not ashamed to admit that) any book which tackles the fear catches my eye. I smiled loads at the gentle way Big Brown eased Small Blue's worries: it's true that as well as thinking there's something evil in the dark we can thing something fun is there too.
Poor Small Blue who is adorable ^o^
It was interesting looking at the dark in a different light (pun not on purpose). The best part had to be sock knitting pirates – anything which encourages yarn crafts makes a book a winner in my view. The illustrations are absolutely adorable – I'm a huge bunny fan and fell in love with Small Blue straight away.

I hope there are more Small Blue Adventures, and maybe even a toy as Small Blue would look good in a super soft fabric. (There are sock knitting pirates in this mega adorable fear of the dark banishing read)
