Magnus
is a BIG dog. In fact, he is a VERY BIG dog. Magnus is SO BIG that no
one wants to play with him, and there's no room for him at home. But
when Magnus spots danger, he knows just what to do to save the day. And
because he is so very BIG, his simple plan works. Is Magnus a BIG hero

Nayu's thoughts
I'm not a huge
dog person, but even I found Magnus cute. Being so big is a problem
for Magnus, and it feels like all aspects of his life are explored
(where he sleeps, where he can play, and how he can help others
rather than be a hindrance. His heart is bigger than his body, he
just wants to have a purpose. The illustrations are fun to look at,
especially with the ability to zoom in and appreciate the finer
details on an ebook reader.
The
reason for the lower grade which could be because I had an advance
reader copy is that there seemed to be a page or two missing before
the finale, which meant there was next to no build up to it and split
sentences which didn't make sense.
