Nayuleska's thoughts
This isn't the first book in the series, but it is the first book I've read starring Monstar. I love her! She's so funny, everything she does makes me smile. The sweet story combined with the cosy feeling from the illustrations made this an exciting read, with a semi-surprising ending. Being a superhero isn't as easy as it looks!

Suggested read
Another amusing read is Chocolate Porridge by Margaret Mahy and Terry Milne (Children's, 5 years +, 10E/10E)
