Things just ‘happen’ around Jesper. When they do ‘happen’, poor Jesper has to speedily think up a way to cover up the mistake/accident/’happening’. His ideas are crazy but they do work some of the time. The problem is that sometimes there is unexplained events...unexplained until the cat writes an explanation which is on a par with the hilarity of the actual event. Although I have to say her tag of cat with attitude might meet her match in my own cat, Belle, who has the attitude the size of an elephant.

The final story in the book had a funny twist that should have been obvious but I was completely taken aback by the revelation which spelled trouble in Jesper’s future! I love how funny Jesper’s tales are, the way that Marko creates a need for secrecy provided entertainment throughout the book. 

The way that Jesper thinks of his sister made me giggle because it could be describing so many girls, and it’s realistic of how younger brothers can view older sisters. The pictures dotted about the book emphasise the danger/humour of a scene which simply made me laugh even harder. This is a real pick-you-up & unputdownable read!
