In this animal story, you will discover a sea dragon called Kojo who is
unlike any other sea dragon you may have heard of or seen before. Kojo

river where he is surrounded by family and friends who love and care for
him. Kojo's Mom has warned him not to go to the south side of the river
as it's too deep and he could get lost there.
One day, Kojo is playing a game of hide and seek with his best friend, Kofi the sea turtle. Kojo in a bid to find the perfect hiding place, strays to the south side where an unseen force tries to draw him into a dark hole. Will Kojo escape this force or will his family and friends rescue him?f

Nayuleska's thoughts
This is by far the best book I've read by
David. Kojo (not Kofi which I somehow keep calling it) is mega cute! I read it
in black and white on my ereader, so for it to have such an impact without
colour says a lot. (Edited later to add I've seen the entire book in colour
and it's AWESOME!) The story itself follows the theme of a child disobeying a
parent forbidding them to do something and doing it, only the consequence for
Kojo (yay, I remembered the correct name!) was worse than I imagined - that was
a great plot twist! It goes to show how observant adults are and why friendship
matters. I so hope there will be more
Kojo books as I want to explore the other characters a bit more.
Find out more about David's books on his
website.
