Nayuleska's thoughts
The concept of this
story sheds a fresh light on being a princess - how cool would it be to live
with your
other friends who are
also princesses? A princess doing magic isn't unusual, but Milly, who is a
little over-enthusiastic in her
spells finds she needs to be more specific in her wishes, even when she's not
exactly sure what she wants.
The strength of her friends helps her to keep trying.
The cupcake baking
incident had me going Eeeewwwww!
as I all too readily imagined the foul flavours, the cupcake magical mishap was hilarious! Lauren's
mega cute style of illustrating fits Clemency's story perfectly - there weren't
quite 1 million cupcakes, but
there certainly was a lot! I loved how each princess had her own theme which was represented in her
clothes, bedroom and possessions - as you can see from the cover Milly's theme
is butterflies - check out
her dress, shoes, tiara and wand!
