Fairy Animals of Misty Wood: Mia the Mouse by Lily Small (Children's, 5 years +, 10/10E, short 'n' sweet review)

July 2013, Egmont, 144 pages, Paperback, Review copy, Short 'n'sweet review

Summary from Egmont
Enter an enchanted world of animal friends! Each cute animal has its own pair of pretty fairy wings, and a special job to do in Misty Wood to make it a wonderful place to live.

In book 4, Mia the Mouse is helping her mum in Misty Wood. But she&'s forgotten what she needs to fetch! She knows it';s something beginning with 'B'. Is it a bluebird? Blackberries? A bunch of buttercups? Maybe her friend the bumble bee can help...

Nayuleska's thoughts
Mia truly is just like me in how she gets carried away in thinking up fun stories, in how she likes to be
responsible, and how she is not all that talented in remembering things. I can remember going aw at the illustration of Mia's younger siblings all in a row waiting for food, and the final illustration was so sweet that I cried. That's how cute this book is!
