Most younger (and older!) readers enjoy the at times therapeutic fun that comes from using stickers. They don't have to sit perfectly on the pictures - I purposely made most of the stickers wonky, since a young child might put them on at any angle. As with every single sticker book I've encountered, you either flip back and forth as you get a sticker and put it on the relevant page or you spend a good few minutes wrestling the sticker pages out of the book, with or without scissors. I usually do the latter, but I used the flipping method this time, and got a bit annoyed if Im honest. But the pure joy that stickers produce made me forget my annoyance.

 I liked the colouring in book because you could use similar colour schemes used in book 1 or create your own! I liked how every illustration was different: e.g. every animal/object was unique, the hippos had different expressions and were slightly different shapes and sizes, as were the other objects. I spent time looking at each animal, starting to create in my mind a world where the animals spoke their thoughts out loud. Pictures truly can be worth over 1000 words!
