Summary from Walker Books
When Bop gets a brand new kind of hiccup on a brisk and blowy day, it makes a lot of fun for everyone! His hiccup-bubbles bounce and fly everywhere and make waves that everyone enjoys playing in. But Bop can’t join in on the fun, so the island friends try to cure him – with a little help from the wind.

Nayuleska's thoughts
I've seen one episode of this tv show, which is beautiful and uplifting. This book is the same too. Abney, Teal and their friends are playing outdoors, which is a great encouragement to readers to get active if they can. Seeing someone have hiccups can be funny at first - more so if bubbles are created - but after a while, as most of us know, hiccups are annoying. At least we don't affect our surrounding environment when we have them, unlike Bop in this 10/10 read.

Suggested read
Another cute friendship based book is Zoe and Bean: Pants on the Moon by Chloe & Mike Inkpen (Children's, Picture book, 10/10)
