Summary from Simon and Schuster
In book one of the Fury trilogy, Cee Winters and Chase Singer discover that a little guilt isn't the only consequence of doing wrong. After Cee hooks up with her best friend's boyfriend and Chase's secret harassment of a social outcast spirals out of control, three mysterious Furies-paranormal creatures that often assume the form of beautiful women-come to town to make sure that Cee and Chase get what they deserve. Not everyone will survive-and those who do will discover there are worse punishments than death. But when Cee befriends outcast Drea and learns more about who and what the Furies really are, she becomes resolved above all to take them down and stop their plans. Little does Cee know that, by confronting the Furies, she could become inextricably bound to them for life.

Nayuleska's reasons for liking the furies....I realise they aren't the main characters who we have the point of view from - Em & Chase, and they are really evil and love revenge, but I understood them as being evil, so can forgive what they do to those who lie, cheat and humiliate others, unlike Em & Chase who I really couldn't feel sorry for.

How evil/nasty is the enemy? This trio have honours in revenge which fits the crimes, they know how to mess with people's heads, they even have a calling card to leave with their victims, as a heads up. It's not their fault if the victims don't realise who the card is from.

Are there plenty of plot twists and surprises: I liked how the revelation of the Furies was hinted at throughout the book, building up closer to the end where Em found someone who knew about the Furies. The later part of the book made my spine tingly as Em prepared to face them in a thrill laden show down.

One of my favourite parts was...when Em realised what she'd done. Sure, I didn't like her in the book, but no matter what people do they have to be given the opportunity for repentance. Plus being bound to the Furies means I'll see them again! Yes!!! I'm looking forward to the mayhem they will create.

I give this an 8/10.
