What are you reading? #18

What are you reading on Monday? is a weekly meme hosted by J. Kaye at J. Kaye's Book blog where you post books completed last week and plans for upcoming books. Jump over to her blog and see who else is participating.

Books I've finished

Fantasy
(All of it! Awesome sword and sorcery fantasy...)

Children's Fiction/Fantasy
(Fairies ....or faeries!  Both cute and fearsome...)

Children's Fiction
(Eye opening read...)

Fantasy
(I've read one of the stories here - brilliant! Characters have lots of dark sides.)

Children's/Picture Book
(Stripy horse is in danger of getting wet...)

Children's Fiction
(Touches on some family issues...)

YA Fantasy
(I love it! Eagerly awaiting the sequel coming soon. Fairies again - blue haired heroine...)

Children's Fiction
(Telepathy used to help combat prejudiced people...)

Children's Fiction
(More martial art mayhem!)

Children's Fiction
(Great way of combining facts with fiction in a story)

Children's Fiction
(Russian view of World War 2...)

Children's Fiction
(How one boy overcomes his fear of heights. Can't say I'd do the same thing!)

Sci-fi/Romance
(Not too technical sci-fi wise, would have liked a little more telepathy...)

Paranormal
(Vampires!)

Children's Fiction
(Vampires and pirates = very good combo)

Non-Fiction
(True life story involving Australian aborigines...)

Planning to read this week:

Fantasy
(Aiming to finish it...)

Children's Fiction
(Started reading it, it's hilarious!)

Children's Fiction
(More vampires and pirates!)

Children's Fiction
(More action from Percy!)

Children's/YA
(Just started this...)

Realistic Fiction
(I think I'll need tissues for this one...)

YA
(Yes, finally I'm getting around to reading this one...)

Children's Fiction
(This looks fun....lots of action!)

Fiction
(I've been eager to read this one for a while...)

As you can see, I'm ploughing my way through my books. It could be possible to actually get on top of my To Be Read pile! If that happens...well I'll be happy :)

  1. I love seeing your book piles. Where do you keep all these books???!

You really should review a Jhumpa Lahiri novel. I think you'd enjoy her. I know, I know, adult literary... :)

I'm currently reading Andrew Blackman's The Holloway Road, and it's lovely. There's a few on your list here that look like really good reads!

  4. Reviews are forthcoming!

My books are kept on the top of my dresser (a few of them), and in a box by my chest of drawers.

    *nods* The books are great!
