This evening's plans (and outcomes)
- Catch up with blog reading (due to headache gremlins I'd missed a few days) - done.
- Email new reviewers regarding ratings, review format etc - done.
- Amend a few blog posts - done, but this is mostly invisible work.
- Write up a review - er, not done.
Muse has taken the 3 day weekend a little too seriously, and has sunk into *deep, relaxation mood* Trying to get her to type out a review is extremely difficult. She's shooting me dark looks, taps on her watch (it is nearly 8pm) and gestures outside. It is dark. It is nighttime. Neither are grand revelations, but they are a reminder that late evening is for reading and relaxing.
Hence this slightly random post.
Coming up in the next few weeks:
- Introductions to the new members of Nayu's Reading Corner. (yes, I may do a short snippet on myself).
- Research into a post on Elizabeth Goudge's A Little White Horse. I can see some of your blank faces now. This is a wonderful book, written in the early half of the twentieth century. It is a favourite of many people, including a few authors (Kate Forsyth - see the review on The Puzzle Ring, which include elements of ALWH). Kate suggested that perhaps I could write a post about ALWH. So I'm going to hunt down authors who have listed ALWH as a favourite book, and see what I can come up with. It is by no means an outdated book - a film adaptation The Secrets of Moonacre was released last year.
- More lovely reviews.
- 3 (three) competitions.
It's all happening here!
Well sounds like you are feeling better and were a hive of productivity today. Yay!
ReplyDeleteYup (to both). Very yay! It's nice to feel normal :)
ReplyDeleteTalk about uber productivity! Hmm, I need to borrow some...
ReplyDelete:) You might have some around now. The need for sleep is overwhelming my productivity level.
