What are you reading? #6

What are you reading on Monday? is a weekly meme hosted by J. Kaye at J. Kaye's Book blog where you post books completed last week and plans for upcoming books. Jump over to her blog and see who else is participating.

Memes from now on are posted on my behalf by GRgenius :) A huge thank you from me for helping me out with this! This week has been a mixed week, with germ gremlins and headache gremlins both pitching camp at my place. Thankfully they are going, and reading/reviewing is returning to it's usual frequency.

Finished this week

(Was invited to review this for a blog tour - it's fantastic! Elements of a darker version of Elizabeth Goudge's A Little White Horse. See my review here and check out Kate reading an extract on the video link.)

(The previous book to The Puzzle Ring. I like the covers! A bit creepy in places, but all in a good way.)

(Beginning to read more sci-fi novels - this one I adore! (and want the previous two in the trilogy) )

(This captivated my original view of fantasy. )

(This is being reviewed by one of my new reviewers, but I've read it.☺)

Still Reading/Started

(Paranormal romance...not a normal genre for me to review but I like the story! Fantastic detail on the magic, and a spunky female protagonist.)

Planning to Start/Read

(Fantasy! Yay!)

(Historical Romance!)

(I don't like his work, but I'm interested to read behind his story.)

(Sounds highly amusing.)

(Sounded like an interesting read)

(This looked like a good premise.)

That's it for this week - I have to plan ahead a little since I'm not posting the meme myself, so hopefully this covers this week for me!

  1. Ooh, Beauty's Curse looks intriguing. I'm looking forward to your new reviewer's thoughts on Mortlock too.

  3. (this time with correct spelling!) Mortlock is scary, but I look forward to reading the others. Plus my cover was quite different (proof copy). For once preferred the proof cover!

If you like the look of books reviewed, have read them, or have anything else to say, please leave a comment! Any comments with links in them that aren't for book/anime/film blogs will be removed.
