On my wishlist #5

On My Wishlist is a weekly meme that allows us to share the books we haven't bought yet but are waiting to be bought and devoured. This idea is brought to us by Book Chick City.

As I sit and type this, there is at least 30cm of snow outside the house. Yup, I am snowbound. Which leads to lots of wishes about books! (I may have a small stack with me, a similar sized stack winging its way to me in the post (which I think will be more than a little delayed by the snow), but there is no such thing as too many books).

Shiny books! *eyes glaze over*

Promise of Wolves by Dorothy Hearst (don't think its out in UK yet)

Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara (and all her other books!)

Beastly by Alex Flinn

Snow White and the Seven Samurai by Tom Holt

Moon Called by Patricia Briggs

Curse the Dawn by Karen Chance

Firespell by Chloe Neill

Teen Valour by Alaric Adair

The Declaration by Gemma Malley

  1. Oooh! Yes, shiny, SHINY books! A few of yours are already on my own wish list...althought there a several I have not heard of as well (which of course I will be looking up after I post this comment). The one book, Beastly is actually being made into a movie stateside as well! I'm not certain how it will be (you know the whole book-to-movie transition can be sketchy) but we shall see!
Happy reading! (...and stay warm snow-bound blogging friend!)

  2. I nearly posted up a book I've had on a previous wishlist!

Glad you like it - I've got a double layer of socks and warm, furry slippers so I'm toasty warm.

Currently eyeing up whether I can finish Beautiful Creatures tonight....currently not sure. I hope so. It's great! And I really want to read Gone by Michael Grant again.

  4. Unfortunately I don't (yet) have a copy of fire, so Graceling will be read first ;) I can't say how soon, because ARC's get priority over personal books.
